On a particularly nice summer day here in Florida I had a wave of homesickness for the New England coast and the beaches in Rhode Island that I had come to love before my move to Florida in 2001. I always say the Gulf of Mexico isn’t a real ocean and the Atlantic coast of Florida is not especially far away, but at this point in my life…oh well, you get the point. I combed through the photos and came up with this one, although I am not sure where I took it; my guess, is Misquamicut Beach, near Westerly Rhode Island.
