EVENING CLOUDSCAPE I

I love those Florida clouds. I am a member of the Cloud Appreciation Society. This society is located in the UK and has great photos and interesting information about clouds. As a child I spent hours seeing all kinds of animals and beasts in the cloud formations around Mystic, Connecticut where we went for the summers. I still do it!
These two paintings (click here to view the other painting) were worked from photographs that I took one evening in Land O Lakes, Florida. I had to pull over and park in the post office parking lot while I fumbled in my purse to get the small Canon point-and-shoot camera I always carry with me.
