When I first moved to Florida my Manufactured Home Community was developing the third stage in the back. There was a big open field and a line of trees behind my house, and I loved to sit at the kitchen table and enjoy watching the ever changing Florida sky. It didn’t take long before there were houses there, and now I have no view at all.
One of my solo shows was right after hurricane Katrina. I decided to put this little painting up for auction to raise funds for New Orleans. I got a decent amount which I split between 4 different charities, including the Humane Society that were heroic in their rescue of pets that were stranded.
