FLOWERS IN A PEWTER PITCHER

This painting was probably done in Brackman’s summer class at Madison, Connecticut. For some odd reason my father liked this painting so much he hung it in his very formal office at SKF Industries in Philadelphia. My father never quite “got it” about my painting, and declared, on more than one occasion, that it would make a good hobby, but as a career it was definitely not a suitable choice for his daughter.
I do not know where it is today.
