Did you know raspberries have hairs all over them? I didn’t until I took these close ups for these paintings.
Anyway, here is that glorious red pigment again. Egg Tempera in all its glory! These two paintings, and the one of the Strawberry were painted prior to my first Genesis painting…obviously I was getting intrigued with these amazing life forms and I couldn’t stop exploring them close up and personal, as they say.
