This is another painting that is “lost”. I think it was given to a friend, but I can’t be sure and my records are really sketchy about this one. I remember that I was very fond of it when I did it, and I was drawn to the patterns in the plate and the drapery. Today I would have 3 or 5 oranges rather than the even number, as I have learned that aesthetically an uneven number is more pleasing….but that was then and this is now.
