Miss Puss came into my life in February of 2010. She was about one year old at the time. We have a great relationship and likes to pose for me, but only for camera shots. She gets pretty upset if I make her sit in one position too long.
This drawing is very unusual because of the reflective silvery appearance of the soft graphite on the black. I read about this technique in an art magazine and had to try it out, as it seemed very odd that a pencil on black paper would have such an effect, but I proved to myself that it really works.
