WAITING FOR THE GREEN LIGHT

Every Saturday afternoon I paint with my artist friend, Carole Flagg. She lives in a Tampa retirement home located across Fletcher Avenue from the University of South Tampa. When she moved into the 12 floor of the high rise building this was the view from the windows in the little sitting area we use for our “studio”. I could not resist making a painting of the landscape. People familiar with that area will recognize the Sun Dome to the far right, the Mormon Church, with the red, roof, and a now demolished dorm building next to it.
