Where do my ideas come from? I am pretty sure I am channeling some wise ass artist from the other side. Could I think this up all on my own? I doubt it. But the idea lodged in the psyche when I set out to create a painting for an upcoming Black and White show at Carrollwood Cultural Center in December. This one did take a bit of fussing over the setup and for me working without color is a major trial, although working in black and white makes you deal with those pesky values.
