MISS PUSS AND THE GERBERA DAISIES

This painting is number four in the series, if I am counting chronologically. I thought this would be the end, but I can’t stop, so I added two more to the series which are ready to go now (July 2013). I have done the preliminary work on Miss Puss and the Spider Mums, which was such an interesting and challenging painting to get together, and the final painting is Miss Puss and the Orchids. This is the second time I did the orchids; the first seemed lame and not interesting, but the second one was much improved by adding two orchid plants to it rather than one small plant that didn’t really have much to “say” to me, and Miss Puss wasn’t all that interested either. With the two plants she was wonderful, and all the photo work is finished. I wish she could paint and help me out with the hard work ahead but she says “enough is enough and I have to sleep a lot!”
